You can trust this boot because it has proven itself for decades as reliable ankle twist protection. They can also be worn during the recovery phase after ankle injuries.
There is a high risk of twisting outside if the ground is uneven and can also be slippery depending on the weather. This applies, for example, to track construction, the construction and steel industry or horticulture. The Anti-Twist Industry safety boot was developed specifically for these areas of application.
It offers reliable protection against accidents at work, which are still most frequently caused by slipping, tripping or twisting an ankle. It can also be used to support the ankle during recovery after an ankle injury. They were modelled on boots for paragliders, which provide a secure footing, especially when landing. Lateral stabilisers support the ankle joint but do not interfere with natural movement.
This ankle twist protection system has existed since the late 1980s and has been continuously improved to this day. This S3 lace-up boot has been used for more than 30 years without any accidents.
The climate membrane makes the boots waterproof. A steel insert protects against nails. The toe cap is made of fibreglass and the polyurethane overcap provides additional protection for the toe. An edge made of coated polyurethane (PU) protects the boots from wear and impact all round. The durable Vibram® rubber sole has a cushioning PU midsole and a grippy tread of seven millimetres.
